Located in the MD Foothills County #31. A hamlet in the Province of Alberta, Canada. It is located in the Foothills of the Canadian Rockies at an elevation of 1,160 meters (3,810 ft).

The hamlet is located Southwest of the intersection of the famous Cowboy Trail (Highway 22) & Highway 22X, approximately 10k West of Calgary City Limits. The drive to Calgary from Priddis or via Bragg Creek has some stunning views.

PRIDDIS DESIGNATED SCHOOLS

While Priddis itself may not have schools for higher grade levels, it falls within the service areas of several nearby school divisions:

  • Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools: This publicly funded Catholic school jurisdiction serves students in communities across southern Alberta, including Priddis. The division operates a network of contracted school buses to serve smaller outlying communities as well as farms, ranches, and rural dwellers. 

  • Palliser Regional Schools: Operating out of Lethbridge, this public school authority serves approximately 8,400 students across southern Alberta, including 15 community schools and various alternative programs.
