Valley Ridge is a great residential neighbourhood in the North West part of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located on the western edge of the city, South of the Bow River and North of Highway 1. The famous Valley Ridge golf course is up in the Northern section of the community. 

History Note: The community is where the former site of Happy Valley Campground, was, which was a park with fun attractions and even slides. It was a popular destination for Calgary holiday makers and locals alike. Sadly it closed in the mid eighties. The golf course is now where the Campground was all those years ago.
